On a minor note: the ground seems reflective. If so, shouldn't the two yellow light beams where the demon comes out of the ground be also have reflections? ;)

I'm wondering, it looks like it could be 3d model but my guess is that it's probably 2d drawing/painting.

Actually we planed it like that. But it looks not as satisfiing as we had in mind.

I like the "simple" but very detailed graphics. Has a very nice feel to it. I'll probably end up looking at the art more than playing the game :D

You're right, the mask helps a lot. (Though if you don't mention the eyes, I probably would've missed that issue altogether). In fact, I think the mask improves the image by balancing the colors. I mean without the mask, there would've been more skin color closer to the top of the image but this way most skin color is centered in the ... center pulling in the eyes from any direction. Not that the other "things" in the middle don't help either. XD
