Go Horace!

Ok, this was so far the least eventful Horace episode but that is due to the movie on which the animation is based. As always, I like your style of the movie. The style of the movie is definite reminder of those "old" horror movies. Horror movies back then had a lot of talking and had less visual gore e.g. the original Psycho. Good job and looking forward to the next Horace :)

Thanks for the review Istvan. There was something I had liked about that old style dialogue and the fact that it was a very old horror movie, back when things were very tame. Currently working on Horace 5. :)

Great continuation of the horror spoof

As this episode 2, be sure to watch episode 1 first!
The dark visuals, creepy sound and storyline is very fitting to the spooky feel of the "Evil" Furby attack. Good job!
I didn't mind the button to advance the text as other reviewers. Perhaps in the next episode the text would be shown for a certain amount of time and add a Stop/Play button for people that need more time with reading. There would be only one button that would change from Stop to Play and vice versa.
Looking forward to the next one :)

Violet-AIM responds:

Thanks Istvan for the review. Well, I'll be working on ep. 3 sometime later. I might just ditch the button altogether in the next one.

Nicely detailed spooky movie

The detailed graphics and style gives the movie a very spooky feeling. Great job! The sounds were good enough for a non-professional animation. Just one question: it seems strange that neither the man in the lazyboy nor the girl in the shower moved after the first bite. Not even a sound. Maybe those are Hypnotic Furbies? Yes, probably that's what happened because they can hypnotize you with their big creepy eyes. No wonder people see them as evil - lol :)
Anyways, keep pu the great work.

Violet-AIM responds:

They were too stunned to move maybe, lol. Good point, I probably could've shown more movement for realism, but wasn't thinking of it at the time. Thanks for the support Istvan.

Not bad but not exactly a tribute

I wouldn't really call this a tribute because it has almost the same plot as Marshmallow Madness (hence low style and overall score). Making your own plot or at least making lots of changes to the original would've been better. Other than that, the animation part is well done.
Cheers,

ok, im not even going to say anything...

This was better

Yeah, I liked this matrix episode better than the first 2. Somehow, I didn't find those as funny as R.E. or M.K. movie jokes. But as long as many people enjoy what you do, it's cool :)

Excellent "Behind the Scenes" for GM4

Great job guys! Funny, well done "Behind the Scenes" look at the Ghost Motel series. It was interesting to meet the "ghosts behind the actors" :)

A few other things:
1) there was one scene in the commentary where both the commentators and people in the watched movie were talking at the same time. It was a bit distracting.
2) At the end of Outtake 4, Tabitha could've said something like "Hey, Joseph ..." or "Hey, Joseph! I know how we can get free tickets" or something similar because as of now Outtake 4 is kind of open ended.

Anyways, keep up the excellent work and I hope to see GM5 in the near future :)

Violet-AIM responds:

Thanks for the review Istvan. It was kind of tricky getting the film they were watching to match with what the ghosts were talking about since I had it on another movie clip/layer, so I probably didn't notice it that much about the voices being simultaneous, but thanks for bringing that up. And good idea about the "how to get free tickets thing". lol

How to reach the humor level of |x|Knox|x|?

Take the stairs!!! :)

Another funny one that doesn't dissapoint!

I saw in your reply to a review that Matrix is next. Cool :)

Knox responds:

yup yup..it will be out in a week

Go Lepo Go!

Another great Lepo movie! I really like the style of the movie - very nice visuals.

The only thing: that egyptian god looking figure that was chasing Lepo should swing it's arm fully back and not just stop when it is vertical. If you did that because the end of the weapon (that it is holding) might hit the floor then you could bend the elbow. That gives more clearance for the weapon.

Keep up the great work!! :)

Violet-AIM responds:

Thanks for the review and the advice. I guess it looked alright to me, but I'm still learning about how to do certain body movements in flash. :)

Good job!

Your simple yet clean graphics and animation matches the song very well! Good job!
Keep up the good work!

CandleClock responds:

thanks! i intend on keeping up the work that i do which is good!!

Nice

Great job! I liked the simplicity of the animaiton comined with nice graphics gave it a unique style. The colors were a nice addition to the mostly black and white backgrounds.

The (I'm assuming) Flash library's 'Book Drop' sound at the end when Lepo falls off the horse is funny because I've seen many movies recently using the same sound as a drop sound. ;)

Violet-AIM responds:

Thanks for the kind words TutiTV. Ya I probably need to find some more sound fx for variety, but the 'book drop' was just there, low in kilobyte, so I just used it. :)
